CONIL

CONIL: The hillside village of Conil lies some 7 kms from the main resort of Puerto del Carmen and approximately the same distance from the airport.  Being completely undeveloped commercially Conil offers a relaxing atmosphere where time seems to stand still. There is an excellent supermarket, public telephone, and two local bars, all within a few minutes walk.

The house, which is close to the centre of the village, once formed part of a large old farm house built in traditional Canarian style with thick stone walls around a central courtyard. The owners have lovingly restored the house in keeping with its original character using a combination of antique and modern furniture and fittings for maximum comfort.

ACCOMMODATION
The accommodation is very spacious with most rooms leading on to the main courtyard and comprises:  Five bedrooms, the main bedroom has an extra large canopied double-bed and shower room with WC en-suite. Bedrooms two and three are interconnecting and have a four poster double-bed and two singles respectively.  A covered terrace leads to the second bathroom with full-size bath.  The fourth bedroom has two single beds and the fifth bedroom has three single beds and a wash basin.  (N.B. bedrooms 2 and 3 are only accessible from the courtyard).

The spacious sitting room is comfortably furnished with sofas, easy chairs and occasional furniture including, satellite TV, video and radio cassette player. The large country kitchen/breakfast room is fully equipped including, gas/electric cooker, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher.

OUTSIDE
Doors lead from the kitchen onto a covered terrace overlooking the pool and garden with further dining and eating area.  The large swimming pool is surrounded by sun bathing terrace with sun beds and patio furniture.
This area is totally secluded and is designed in courtyard fashion with flower beds. There is the added benefit of an extra WC with wash basin.  A pool table, barbecue and outside shower complete the poolside facilities. To the front of the house is the internal courtyard which forms an ideal alternative to the poolside for al-fresco dining.

Los Patios and the smaller La Bodega are adjoining properties and can be used together for parties of up to 15 persons. A car is considered essential in Conil, and car hire is therefore included in the holiday price.

Footnote: For ease of maintenance, waters to both swimming pools merge. Privacy is not affected.
